Since 1911, the Barbagallo family has nurtured a passion for producing La Bio Idea pasta in their factory in Fiumifreddo. Now, in the fourth generation, three proud daughters (Agata, Filly, Giulia) lead the company with the same dedication, continuing the family’s age-old traditions and pasta secrets.
Their pasta is crafted from 100% Sicilian durum wheat and pure Etna water. The wheat is carefully milled through a 28-step process and transformed into pasta within 24 hours. Shaped using bronze dies and slow-dried at low temperatures over 12 hours, the pasta retains its authentic flavor, texture, and quality.
